The same shoreline and shared spaces come with an RV site, a cabin or a monthly stay. There is no resort fee and no amenity fee.
Before you book
Arriving after hours is easy
The phone is answered from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm every day. The office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The gate works around the clock. You will get CellGate app access and a personal gate code before you arrive, with two logins per site, so you can let yourself in whenever you get here.
If you arrive after the office closes, your site number and hookup details are sent ahead of time. There is nothing to collect on the way in.
Common questions
What is there to stay in at Waterfront Hideaway Ranch?
Three options: full-hookup RV sites in five classes, three lakefront cabins, and long-term RV sites starting at $750 a month plus metered electric with a 30-night minimum. Nightly rates for sites and cabins are on the booking page. All of it is behind one gate on about 600 feet of private Lake Lewisville shoreline in Little Elm, Texas.
How far is the park from Frisco, Denton and Dallas?
Frisco and The Star are about 25 minutes away. Little Elm is about 10, Aubrey and Prosper about 20 to 25, Denton about 30, McKinney about 35, DFW Airport about 45, and downtown Dallas about an hour. All are approximate and depend on traffic.
Do you allow pets?
Yes. Up to two pets per site or cabin, and all three cabins accept pets. Pets need to be leashed anywhere outside your RV or the fenced dog park.
What are check-in and check-out times?
RV sites check in from 2:00 pm and check out by 12:00 pm. Cabins check in from 4:00 pm and check out by 11:00 am. The gate works around the clock with the CellGate app or your gate code, so arriving after the office closes is fine.
Is there a resort fee or amenity fee?
No. There is no resort fee, no amenity fee and no booking fee when you book direct, so the rate you see is the rate you pay plus tax. On long-term stays, electric is metered and billed separately each month.
Can I bring a boat?
Yes, though there is no ramp on the property, so trailered boats launch from one of the public ramps about 10 to 15 minutes away. You are welcome to anchor or tie up off our shoreline, at your own risk – we do not own the lake and we do not provide moorings. Guest kayaks are free to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.
How long can I stay?
Many public campgrounds around Lake Lewisville limit the length of a stay. Because Waterfront Hideaway Ranch is privately operated, monthly stays are available here, starting at a 30-night minimum.
Is the park open year round?
Yes, the park is open all twelve months. North Texas winters are mild, and January through March is usually the easiest time to get a monthly site.
