You don’t need an RV to stay by the lake. Our three pet-friendly cabins at Waterfront Hideaway Ranch give you a comfortable place to settle in, with the shoreline just a short walk away. Choose one of our one-bedroom cabins for a quieter getaway, or spread out in the three-bedroom lake house with room for up to six guests. Come for a weekend, bring the dog, and make the lake the easiest part of your plans.

Everything you need for a stay by the lake

Our three cabins give you an easy way to enjoy Waterfront Hideaway Ranch without bringing an RV. Each one is just a short walk from the shoreline and includes a private bathroom, a kitchen or kitchenette, AT&T Fiber Internet, Roku TV, and an outdoor porch or deck where you can slow down and enjoy the setting. We’ll have the bedding and towels ready for you, too.

Bringing your dog? All three cabins are pet-friendly, with up to two pets per cabin. You’ll also have full access to the shoreline, kayaks, dog park, and the rest of the ranch during your stay.

Cabin 1 — the white cottage

The simplest of the three, and the most affordable way to stay on this shoreline without a rig. A one-room cabin with gingerbread trim and a covered porch, a couple of hundred feet from the water.

It shares the same shaded site, the same grove and the same sunrise as Cabin 2, with a simpler fit-out inside.

Cabin 2 — the clawfoot cottage

A one-room cabin a couple of hundred feet from the shoreline, with an open view of the lake. Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, chandeliers and a clawfoot soaking tub give it a character of its own.

The front porch catches the sunrise, and there is a grove overlooking the lake for the evening.

Cabin 3 — the lake house

The family and group option. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms with standard tub and shower combos, a full kitchen, a washer/dryer and a partly covered deck that runs the length of the building facing the water.

Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third has a twin-over-full bunk and a futon, so the cabin sleeps up to six. It suits a family, three couples, or anyone who wants a lake weekend without towing anything. It also has a large private dog run, about ninety feet by thirty.

Common questions

What do the cabins cost?

Nightly rates vary by season and day of the week, so current pricing and availability are on the booking page. Cabin 1 and Cabin 2 each sleep two, and Cabin 3 sleeps up to six.

Are the cabins pet-friendly?

Yes, all three cabins take pets, with up to two per cabin. Pets need to be leashed anywhere outside the cabin except in the fenced dog park.

Which cabin sleeps the most people?

Cabin 3. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third has a twin-over-full bunk and a futon, sleeping up to six. Cabins 1 and 2 each sleep two.

Do I need to bring bedding or towels?

No. Linens and towels are provided and the beds are made. The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, plates, flatware and glassware, so you only need to bring food, clothes and whatever you want to drink on the porch.

Can I cook in the cabins?

Cabins 1 and 2 have kitchenettes with a hot plate, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Cabin 3 has a full kitchen with a cooktop, oven, toaster oven, microwave and full-size refrigerator. All three have a propane grill in the grove out front.

How close are the cabins to the water?

A couple of hundred feet. Cabin 2 has an open view of Lake Lewisville, Cabin 1 has a lake view from a shaded site, and Cabin 3 sits a little higher up towards the road with a full-length deck and a short walk down to the water. All three are on the same private, guests-only shoreline.

Is there a virtual tour?

Yes. There is a 360-degree virtual tour covering the cabins and the grounds, so you can look around before you book.

What are check-in and check-out times for cabins?

Cabin check-in is from 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. RV sites run 2:00 pm to 12:00 pm. The gate works around the clock with the CellGate app or your gate code, so a later arrival is fine.
